The London College of Garden Design one-year Garden Design Diploma classes take place in the Orangery conference facilities at Kew Gardens and are led by Andrew Wilson, widely acknowledged as one of the UK's leading garden design lecturers. Andrew has been at the forefront of garden design teaching in the UK and overseas, for some 20 years. He is supported by practicing design, horticulture and technical professionals to ensure you get a wide experience of the industry and the most up to date knowledge. With our unique placement scheme we are often able to place students on work experience with some of the country's leading garden designers. The majority of our students benefited from work experience this year and some have been rewarded with positions with designers including Andy Sturgeon, Luciano Giubbilei, Jo Thompson, Tom Stuart Smith and Sam Martin.

In keeping with our vision to offer the best garden design training available, our teaching facilities are world class and provide a quiet haven for study in the middle of one of the world's leading botanic gardens. Kew is conveniently located within easy access of transport links and live projects being constructed in the capital.

We take a fresh approach making sure that you get carefully targeted professional skills. As well as core design and plant skills we provide intensive business and construction teaching so that students can launch successful businesses as soon as they graduate.
