Our Partnerships
At LCGD we have always had a collaborative approach to professional Garden Design training and we enjoy working with different organisations and companies to provide the very best for our students and staff.
Training partnerships
The London College of Garden Design is the only design college that has received two Educator awards from the Society of Garden Designers, the UK’s professional body for garden design. The awards accredit the Garden Design Diploma and Planting Design Diploma.
We are also accredited training providers to the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) and the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL).
Charity partnerships
We have a record of supporting charities both within and outside of the garden and landscape design profession.
Our main charity partnership is with Perennial with whom we are a Corporate Partner and sponsor. Perennial are the only charity dedicated to helping people who work in horticulture and are there for when times get tough. They provide free and confidential advice, support and financial assistance to people of all ages working in or retired from the horticultural and design professions. We also have relationships with other garden-linked charities including the following and regularly run exclusive graduate competitions for organisations such as MacMillan Cancer Support.
