London College of Garden Design to Raise £10,000 for Perennial in 2018

To help mark its 10th anniversary, the London College of Garden Design (LCGD) is on track to raise £10,000 for Perennial in 2018. The funds will be raised   through a combination of sponsorship of Perennial events, including the revived Festival Dinner on 12 October 2018, a Platinum Perennial Partnership and donations from LCGD events throughout the year. Most recently the college ran a student conference, TREES: the big picture, to coincide with its 10th anniversary graduate day at Kew Gardens.

Sue Brinsden, Partnerships Officer at Perennial, said “Ensuring students are aware of us at an early stage in their career helps access to Perennial’s advice and support as and when it’s needed. We’re trying to spread the message that our support services are not always for those in crisis and this type of event really helps. The London College of Garden Design fundraising this year will make a real and lasting difference to the people we help.”
