Are you contemplating changing your career to train as a Garden Designer, but don’t really know where to begin?

Join experts from the London College of Garden Design to find out more about planting design, construction design and how designers communicate visually, including with Computer Aided Design. In addition you will learn about career opportunities and receive tips and advice on how to pursue a successful future career as a garden designer.
Your course leader Andrew Wilson has run his own design practice for over 35 years. He is a Director of Garden Design Studies at the London College of Garden Design, widely regarded as the leading garden design college in Europe and whose graduates have won many awards including all of the Society of Garden Designers Student Awards in the past 3 years.
Andrew will be joined by recently graduated designers and our Director Nina Baxer who can tell you how their first years have gone as well as CAD, Planting Design and Construction Design experts.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE CURRENTLY ENROLLING STUDENTS FOR OUR GARDEN DESIGN DIPLOMA STARTING IN SEPTEMBER 2024.

Getting in to Kew Gardens – you will be sent instructions in advance to gain free entry to Kew Gardens on the day and to the training room which will be at Cambridge Cottage.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? Please visit our main website lcgd.org.uk for more details on how to get to our home in Kew Gardens London.
Will refreshments be provided? There are on-site restaurants where you wil be able to get refreshments as well as other places around Kew Green.
Tickets are just £49 which is heavily discounted on our normal training days and aims to cover some of our costs. In the event of all tickets being sold we will operate a waitlist.
