Andrew Wilson is a founding Director of The London School of Garden Design and an award winning garden designer, lecturer and writer. He specialises in creating contemporary gardens in London and the South East of the UK, but also designs internationally. He has exhibited at Chelsea in 1993, 2013, 14 & 15 and in the Singapore International Garden Show in 2014. In his long educational career Andrew has also taught garden design and landscape architecture in a variety of universities and private colleges and has been External Examiner for many university programmes.
Andrew has written regularly for Gardens Illustrated, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) journal The Garden and Prolandscaper alongside a series of books, the most recent of which are Contemporary Colour in the Garden and The Small Garden Handbook for the RHS. Andrew is also the founding editor of The Garden Design Journal. He served as Chair of Assessor for the RHS for show gardens between 1994 and 2013 and continues with judging for the Bloom Garden Festival in Dublin. He is a Fellow and former Chairman of the Society of Garden Designers, the UK’s professional body for garden design.
