At LCGD we want to make our courses available to a diverse range of students and as part of that commitment we offer bursaries for study with us. The following bursaries and their timing will be available in the future.
The LCGD Sam Taylor-Hunt Bursary provides funding that covers all the fees for our Planting Design Diploma. We choose two students in advance of the following two years of the programme. The next available bursaries will be for courses starting in January 2028 and 2029 for which applications will be invited in the summer of 2027.
The LCGD Nigel Dunnett Bursary provides funding that covers the fees for our Certificate in Plantsmanship. We choose two students in advance of the following two years of the programme. The next available bursaries will be for courses starting in September 2027 and 2028 for which applications will be invited in early 2027.
We also have a bursary scheme for our Garden Design Diploma which is available only to existing staff members at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and is chosen annually through an internal selection procedure.
