The London College of Garden Design is the only design college that has received two Educator awards from the Society of Garden Designers, the UK’s professional body for garden design. The awards accredit the Garden Design Diploma and Planting Design Diploma.

We are also accredited training providers to the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) and the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL).

We have a record of supporting charities both within and outside of the garden and landscape design profession.

Our main charity partnership is with Perennial with whom we are a Platinum Partner and sponsor. Perennial are the only charity dedicated to helping people who work in horticulture and are there for when times get tough. They provide free and confidential advice, support and financial assistance to people of all ages working in, or retired from the horticultural and design professions. For more information visit Perennial’s website at or call on 0800 093 8510

We also have relationships with other garden charities including Thrive, the national charity for horticultural therapy and Greenfingers. We also regularly run exclusive graduate competitions for charities such as MacMillan Cancer Support.
