Career change day – explore what it means to become a garden designer

Are you contemplating changing your career to train as a Garden Designer, but don’t really know where to begin?
Join experts from the London College of Garden Design to find out more about planting design, construction design and how designers communicate visually, including with Computer Aided Design. In addition you will learn about career opportunities and receive tips and advice on how to pursue a successful future as a garden designer.
Your course leader
Andrew Wilson has run his own design practice for over 35 years. He is a Director of the London College of Garden Design, widely regarded as the leading garden design college in Europe and whose graduates have won many awards including all of the Society of Garden Designers Student Awards in 2020 and 2021.
Andrew will be joined by recently graduated designers who can tell you how their first years have gone as well as CAD, Planting Design and Construction Design experts.
The course runs from 10.00 until approximately 16.00 at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
